Test Description:
Aneuvysion
is available to detect numerical abnormalities of chromosomes 13, 18,
21, X and Y via a fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH)-based assay
of prenatal specimens. The analysis allows for a rapid, preliminary
result as the final cytogenetic analysis is pending. Aneuvysion does
not rule out all chromosome abnormalities. |
