Pediatric Pulmonology

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology shares and augments the mission of the Department of Pediatrics and Human Development to improve the respiratory health of infants, children and adolescents by providing high quality clinical care to patients, excellent teaching to medical students and residents and allied health professional, innovative clinical research while fostering strong partnerships with the child, the family, and the community at large.

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology was established in 1979 by Dr. Richard Honicky, and has since evolved into a comprehensive care center, which offers diagnostic testing, treatment, co-management and research in an array of pulmonary ailments in children.

Teaching and Education

We participate in medical education of students and clinical training of residents. We offer update on current guidelines of major pulmonary conditions of childhood. We also offer elective rotation for students.
