The Department of Pediatrics and Human Development offers unique rich and broad educational experiences for our students.
The College of Human Medicine is a community-based medical school which means clinical practice, undergraduate and graduate medical education, and research takes place across seven campuses through affiliations with local hospitals, physicians, and other health care providers. Within each campus, pediatric clerkships are offered at our partner hospitals and educational institutions for third and forth year medical students under a common curriculum. Pediatric residency programs are available at Flint, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Lansing should you decide to continue your career in pediatrics. Fellowship programs exist in Lansing (neonatology) and Grand Rapids (hematology-oncology and nephrology) Take a tour of Michigan State University's main campus.
