This year the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Department of Pediatrics & Human Development and the Michigan State University Research in Autism, Intellectual, and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (RAIND) initiative partnered with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) to present the first Michigan State University Autism Family-Professional Conference on July 28th, 2016. Held at the Henry Center at Michigan State University's East Lansing campus, the conference distinguished itself by its accessibility not only to researchers and health professionals, but to families and caregivers looking to better understand the autism spectrum.
