The World Foundation for Hemophilia has named Pediatrics and Human Development Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist Dr. Roshni Kulkarni, MD as this year's winner of the World Foundation for Hemophilia President's Award! Their decision to recognize Dr. Kulkarni was based on "a career advancing recognition, improving diagnosis, and ensuring equitable access to care for [hemophilia patients] not just in the United States, but globally."
Dr. Kulkarni joined the ranks of Pediatrics and Human Development faculty in 1977, and throughout her career has remained steadfast in her advocacy for patients with hemophilia and bleeding disorders, particularly those of often overlooked demographics.
