An ongoing collaboration with Central Michigan University and Children's Hospital of Michigan, Pediatric Research Day is a Pediatrics and Human Development tradition going back almost two decades. This one-day event, open to medical students, graduate students, residents, postdocs, fellows, and faculty, was conceived by Pediatrics and Human Development faculty BV Madhukar and Rachel Fisher as a means of encouraging interest in research by providing medical students the opportunity to attend a scientific conference and by conntecting them with basic scientists performing research relevant to their field.
