Why did you choose the MSU/Sparrow Pediatric Residency Program?

I was able to work with the residents and attending as a student and they very much made me feel like part of the team. I love and think it’s special to get to serve in the community that raised me.

What do you like most about living in Michigan?

Being close to family and experiencing the seasons.

What do you like most about living in Lansing?

Just a few hours away from anything you would want - Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor and Traverse City are favorites for me.

What are your hobbies?

I enjoy walking my pup, cooking, gardening and recently updating our new-to-us older home.

What are your career goals?

Currently still leaning toward general pediatrics, and hope to have an emphasis on teaching.
