EmailDr. Joseph Vettukattil is the co-director and Division Chief of the Congenital Heart Center at the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. Specialized in Structural and congenital interventions as well as advanced imaging for intraprocedural guidance. Specializes in both adults and congenital heart disease. Current research includes: Advanced imaging, Prototyping, 3D visualization and printing, Molecular basis of liver lung interactions, Failing Fontan and mechanical or device support. Inventor Atrial Flow Regulator and VASD device. Innovations include 3D printing from Echocardiography and multimodality integration for cardiac interventions. Other areas of interest includes conversion of single to 1.5 or 2 ventricle repair. Also Clinical professor Michigan State University.
